In the name of God amen -- I Waterman Boatman of the state
of South Carolina and county of Union being sick and weak of
body but of sound mind memory and understanding do make and
___________ this my last will and testament in manner and
form following (to wit)
First of all I give and bequeath unto my beloved wife Diana
during her widowhood the whole benefit of my Plantation
wherein I now live with all my personal property --
provided nevertheless my son Robert shall have the free use
and benefit of that part of the plantation which he now
enjoys for his proper use and behalf during my wife's
widowhood -- and also it is my desire and meaning that my
son John shall have the priviledge of living & Cultivating
part of said Plantation during my wife's widowhood -- and
also it is my will and desire that my daughter Johana shall
have the priviledge of enjoying that part of the plantation
wherein she know lives (to wit) beginning at a corner of
land formerly the property of Elijah Cooper deceased from thence to Benjamin Nix, land to the River thence up said
River to the first Branch thence to the beginning corner in
said Cooper's land provided nevertheless if my said
daughter Johanna shall Remove of said land all right.
________ or interest to her or heirs or assigns shall
cease form the day of her Removals --

2nd at the death or marriage of my wife I give and bequeath
unto my two sons Robert and John the whole of the Tract of
Land wherein I now live to be equaly -- divided between
them the said Robert and John

3rd it is my will and desire that at the death of my wife
all the residue of my Estate real or personal except such
as Before mentioned shall be equaly divided amongst my
Children Jesse, Robert, John and Elizabeth and I hereby
nominate and approve my beloved wife Diana and my son Jesse
Exectutors of this my last will and Testament thereby
revoking all former will and wills by me heretofore made --
In Witness whereof I hereunto set my hand and seal this
twenty sixth day of August anna Domini 1800
